By providing a group auto and home offering , the employer is adding a further method of increasing the net income of its employees and creating good will between itself and the employee.  
Group Auto and Home is a partnership between the employer, the employee and the Insurance Carriers.
Before pursuing a group plan it must be profitable to all three parties.
To determine the viability of a group plan a there are steps to take to ensure success.
Step one : determine if the group is a suitable for a group carrier. This analysis determines the demographics and the discount rating structure to be offered.
Step 2; a letter of engagement allows the Broker to act on your behalf to search the markets and determine the best value package
Step 3 : determine how to market it to the employees effectively ., Support by the employer and communicating the plan,plants the seed of success. The more participants the greater the chance to develop a profitable portfolio and rate stability .
Step 4 Provide a 24/7 service department (by the carrier) that communicates rates , quotes, claims and renewals in an efficient manner that guarantees appreciation by the employees
Step 5 : Annual reviews of the protfolio by the carrier and employer to determine future rate structures or discounts.

Note depending on the costs incurred in communicating the program , Carriers may offer subsidizing to pay for such costs to the employer
